Don’t Splash
Ouaz GamesDon’t Splash is a 3D stealth game from Ouaz Games, set in a flooded indoor pool at night. A blind monster lives in the water. It can’t see you, but it hears every step you take in it, so the whole game is about crossing the pool as quietly as you can.
How to get across
Each level starts on one side of the pool, and the exit room waits on the far side. You hop from platform to platform to get there, and whenever you have to go through the water the monster starts listening. Walk slowly and the noise stays small. Run and it hears you from across the hall.
Stones and sinking platforms
You can throw a stone to make a splash somewhere else, which pulls the monster away from your path for a moment. Some of the stones you stand on sink under your feet shortly after you land, so you can’t wait on them for long. Don’t Splash works like most stealth games, where staying out of sight matters more than fighting, except that here the monster tracks sound.
40 levels and a second monster
The game has 40 levels. The first five have one monster in the pool, and from level 6 on there are two of them in the water at the same time.
Controls
On a computer, move with WASD or the arrow keys, jump with Space, run with Shift and drag the mouse to look around. Use the stone button to throw. On a phone or tablet, use the on-screen joystick and buttons. Don’t Splash runs in the browser on PC and mobile, with nothing to download.
