Ragdoll Knockout

Ragdoll Knockout is a physics brawler from Ouaz Games. Each level drops you and a few rival fighters onto a course of brick and sandstone platforms, towers and rope bridges built above the sea, every one of you in big red boxing gloves. The last fighter left on the course after the others have been knocked out wins the level.

Floppy fighters, real physics

The fighters use ragdoll physics, so every hit throws a whole body around. A punch is also a dash: you fly in the direction you aim and take the gloves with you, which can send a rival tumbling off a ledge or carry you over the edge yourself if you miss. Jumping between platforms, punching upward and timing a dash while an opponent is still off balance are what win the close fights.

Named rivals

Every fighter in the level is listed at the top left with their life as a percentage, so you always know who is close to going down. Your rivals carry their own gamer tags, and you can type your own name in the main menu so it floats above your fighter.

Upgrades between levels

Winning pays out cash, and the main menu has three upgrades to spend it on: Life, Power, and Offline Earnings, which pile up while you are away. If you are short of cash for an upgrade, you can watch an ad to get it for free. After a win you can stop the multiplier gauge for extra cash, and after a knockout you can get back into the fight once by watching an ad.

Controls

With a mouse or a finger, press and drag to move and aim, drag upward to jump, and let go to punch and dash in the direction of the arrow. On a keyboard, A and D or the arrow keys run, W or Up jumps, and Space or Enter punches toward the side you last ran to (hold W or S to punch up or down). In the menus, Space or Enter confirms, Esc closes a popup, and 1, 2 and 3 buy the upgrades. Ragdoll Knockout runs in the browser on PC and mobile, with nothing to download.
