Drill Rush 3D

Drill Rush 3D is a mining game from Ouaz Games. You run a drilling rig on a green hill, and under the grass the ground is full of gold, silver and gems. Pick one of the three spots, send the drill down, and dig as deep as your fuel and your pipe allow. Everything you pull up turns into cash for the next run.

Digging a run

Once the drill is in the ground you steer it between the lanes to line up with the stones on the way down, and tap the treasures as you pass them. The run ends when the oil runs out or the pipe can’t go any lower. Then the drill comes back up and you count what it brought with it.

From bronze to black diamond

The shallow layers are mostly bronze and silver. Gold shows up a little lower, and after that come the gems, from sapphire, aquamarine and emerald to ruby and diamond. The rarest finds are the pink diamond and the black diamond, deep enough that you need a few upgrades before you reach them. A real drilling rig works the same way, a turning bit at the end of a long pipe, though it usually goes after oil and gas.

Oil, pipe and offline earnings

Drill Rush 3D has three upgrade cards above the rig. Oil fills a bigger tank, so the drill keeps running longer. Pipe adds length, so you can dig deeper. Offline Earning pays you cash by the hour while the game is closed. Each one costs more every time you buy it, so it pays to switch between them instead of maxing one.

New drills in the shop

The shop on the right side of the screen is where you unlock new drills for Drill Rush 3D. You pay for them with the same cash you earn from your runs, so a few good digs go a long way.

Playing with the keyboard

With a mouse or on a touch screen, tap the spot you want and tap the cards to upgrade. On a keyboard, the left and right arrows or A and D pick the left and right spots, and Up, Down, W, S, Space or Enter pick the middle one. The number keys 1, 2 and 3 buy the upgrade cards, and Esc closes the shop and pop-ups.
