Stickman War
Jason Whitham and Brock WhiteStickman War on this page is Stickman Legends, a side-scrolling stickman action RPG that also exists as a mobile app. You create a hero, fight through stages full of undead soldiers and monsters with blades, hammers or guns, and spend the gold you win on stronger gear and skills.
Shido, Bernald Griggs and Ignite
Three heroes are offered when you create your character. Shido is a young warrior from Arvila, a village of fighters in the northeast of the Makai empire, sent by his chief to defeat the devil army. Bernald Griggs is the guardian leader of Eastground Castle, the place now called Undead Castle, and he fights with a huge hammer. Ignite is a gunner from Eastground Castle who built her own weapon to fight the devil. Each hero has a main attack and a ring of six skills, and you give your hero a name or pick a random one.
Undead Castle and the stages after it
The campaign is a map of numbered stages. Undead Castle comes first, described as the castle of darkness where the undead legions are stationed, and the other maps include Devil Forest, Frost Mountain and Death’s Bay. Every map can be played on Easy, Normal, Hard, Extreme, Nightmare and Hell. A stage runs on a three-minute clock and pays gold and experience, and before a stage you can buy power-ups such as 10 percent more attack damage. Bosses include a Giant Worm, a Hydra, an Ice Phoenix and Death Cavalry.
Survival, Arena and gear
Besides the campaign there is a Survival mode, where the goal is to last as long as possible, and an Arena for fights against other players. Your weapon, armor, ring and amulet each level up, and achievements ask you to raise them as far as level 100. Daily quests, daily gifts and an achievement list hand out extra rewards. Stickman Legends mixes side-scrolling fights with the gear and skill upgrades of an action RPG.
Controls
On a keyboard, A and D move your hero left and right, W jumps, K makes a quick dash forward and J attacks. The number keys 1 to 4 fire the skills you have unlocked, and the space bar moves the tutorial text along. On a phone or tablet, the same actions sit on an on-screen joystick and buttons.
